Uniform

The KHAS Uniform and Dress Code promotes equality and instills school pride by mandating a single uniform for all students, which is compulsory for school attendance.

We encourage parents to ensure students are dressed neatly both inside and outside school so as to help us maintain a positive image for KHAS as well as for themselves.

Dress code

  • Students must be dressed in the KHAS uniform whilst attending classes or representing the school during external activities. Students are always expected to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • On P.E days, Students must wear the P.E. uniform and plain white sports shoes. On all other days, students must wear black school shoes with plain white socks.
  • KG students may wear shoes with Velcro fastening instead of shoelaces.
  • For girls studying in Grades 4 and 5, uniforms include a hijab, which is white.
  • Boys' hair must be kept short. Girls from KG1 to Grade 5 must tie back long hair.
  • Students’ hair must not be dyed or styled in any non-traditional manner or using products such as hair gel, wax, mousse, etc. Students may be asked to restyle their hair or be sent home if their hairstyle does not adhere to the school dress code.
  • Both male and female students are expected to keep their nails short and clean.
  • Girls are not allowed to wear henna, nail polish, kohl, or makeup. Students may not wear fragrance or jewelry, with the exception for wristwatches. The school will not be responsible for the loss of any valuables.
  • Students who fail to adhere to the school dress code will be given a warning. If they fail to comply, their parents will be informed, and they could be sent home until they comply with the school uniform policy.
