Principal's Message

Mrs. Marah Kaddoura

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the academic year 2020-2021! We are looking forward to another exciting year with our returning and new students, and their families.

Khalifah Al Hamzah American School (KHAS) opened its doors in January 2019, with a clear vision to create an environment conducive to learning. KHAS offers an enriched American curriculum with a focus on innovation, including technology-enhanced learning, from KG to Grade 5 ((Boys and Girls) and Grade 6 (Boys only)

At KHAS we are constantly working toward delivering education that will enable our students to dream big and achieve recognition on their way to becoming global citizens.

As principal, my greatest initiative will be to provide leadership that will facilitate a quality educational environment, including diverse instruction that meets the needs of each and every student. The educational program must be academically challenging, engaging all students by linking previous knowledge and experience, and it must also be exciting to promote further exploration of new ideas.

We are all excited to start a new school year filled with stimulating new challenges and opportunities. Through creative planning, our highly qualified staff strive to provide students with rich opportunities for exploration, investigation, and cross-curricular learning - the key strands to developing critical thinking skills. KHAS’s personalized approach to education aims to meet all learners’ requirements, and this can be witnessed in all of our classrooms. The richness of our extra-curricular activities, spanning academics and sports, enriches the learning experiences of our young and energetic students.

We encourage parents to be active participants in the school life of their children, and we welcome you to be part of our many family events and class activities. Please be informed that I am always available to meet parents, respond to questions, and address any concerns.

We hope that you find the information contained here to be informative and useful as you navigate our website. I encourage parents to visit and observe the warm, caring, and child-centered school that has been created to serve our community and help develop global leaders.

I look forward to another fantastic school year in service to our students, parents, and the community as a whole.
